Ted Ricciardello

Hard work is in Ted’s blood. Leaving school at 11 to help support a family of 9, Ted arrived in Perth in 1962 with minimal money or education. Beginning his career as a plasterer, Ted started the Ricciardello Building Company and became a registered builder in 1965 before starting Weststyle in 1985 with his eldest son Tony.

Working side-by-side as father and son, Tony learned what it took to be a well-respected builder and successful businessperson. He led by example, being true to his word, respectful and when necessary, tough. With an astute and sharp business sensibility, Ted created built his opportunities and wealth from the ground up, proving that anything is possible.

Rose Ricciardello

Born in Sicily in 1949, Rose moved to Perth at just two years old. Meeting and marrying Ted at a young age, Rose exceeded expectations at every turn. Rose has managed the finances for the business since it first began and still does to this day.

Central to the financial viability and down-to-earth culture of the business, Rose brings her warm heart, empathetic nature and delicious food to the Weststyle family. Loving mother and grandmother, treasured wife, former travel and real estate agent, Rose is the beating heart of Weststyle and we are forever grateful to her.

Tony Ricciardello

Tony quite literally grew up on building sites, developing an instinctive understanding of how they function and evolve.  At 18, he formally entered the industry, and by 19 had gone into business with his family to establish Weststyle, guided by the mentorship of his father, Ted.

The same energy and excitement he felt on-site as a child still drives him today. With over four decades of experience, Tony embraces every new architectural style with curiosity and enthusiasm, while drawing inspiration from his talented and motivated team. He has fostered a culture that feels like family, warm, inclusive, and deeply supportive, which has become a defining strength of Weststyle.

Under Tony’s leadership, Weststyle has flourished, earning long-standing client relationships, industry recognition, and numerous accolades. In 2023, his contribution to the industry was further acknowledged when he was appointed President of the Housing Industry Association, WA.

Janis Ricciardello

Janis is a pivotal member of the Weststyle team, she plays a vital role in supporting both the business and the staff in many meaningful ways. With a background in secondary education, youth programs, and community committees,  Janis brings a compassionate and people-focused perspective to the company. Over the years, she has contributed across diverse areas including business development, client relationships, event coordination, and administration.

Janis’s warmth, generosity, and commitment to others have helped shape the strong, family-oriented culture that defines Weststyle today. Her influence continues to be instrumental in maintaining the values of inclusivity, care, and connection that the company is built on.

Rosanna Bilchuris

With a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting, Rosanna has been a cornerstone of Weststyle since joining the family business in 1998. Beginning her career as a Tax Accountant with several Perth accounting firms, she brought with her a wealth of financial expertise that continues to shape the strength and stability of the company today.

Rosanna works closely with the management team to oversee financial management and strategic planning, ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of the business. Meticulous, organised, and deeply knowledgeable, she guides clients through the financial stages of their home journey with clarity and care, making what can be a complex process feel seamless.

Her financial leadership and commitment to excellence play a pivotal role in securing Weststyle’s future, while her warm and gentle nature ensures both clients and colleagues feel supported throughout the journey.

Mary Ong

As Weststyle’s Lead Architect, Mary combines creativity with strategy, using her love of storytelling to design homes that reflect the past, present, and future lives of our clients. Passionate about residential architecture, she and her team create designs that balance form and function, imprinting each client’s unique style while achieving enduring, thoughtful outcomes.

Over the years, Mary has grown into a key leadership role, strengthening collaboration between the design studio and construction team to create a seamless workflow. Her ability to foster relationships across the business has enhanced the way Weststyle delivers projects, ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellence at every stage.

Context and collaboration remain central to Mary’s process. By drawing on the surrounding environment and truly listening to client needs, she produces highly individualised designs that feel both timeless and personal. With Mary’s guidance, Weststyle continues to shape unique, innovative homes and make a lasting impact on the WA landscape.

Peter Romiti

Peter is a highly experienced Project Coordinator and Building Designer with nearly two decades of expertise spanning architectural, structural, and administrative disciplines. Known for his attention to detail and practical approach, he seamlessly transforms complex concepts into well-executed outcomes that balance functionality with considered design flair.

At Weststyle, Peter is valued not only for his technical expertise but also for his ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, suppliers, and consultants.

His commitment to personalised service ensures that every project is delivered with care, creating a design and build journey that is as enjoyable as it is successful. Trusted, approachable, and dedicated, Peter plays a pivotal role in ensuring Weststyle’s projects run smoothly, delivering homes that embody quality, innovation, and lasting value.

Tayla Hampson

Tayla is an accomplished Interior Designer with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture from Curtin University. Before joining Weststyle, she successfully ran her own interiors business, building a reputation for creativity, precision, and client-focused design.

With a strong eye for colour, texture, and form, Tayla helps clients select elements that reflect their individual style while enhancing the overall character and functionality of their home. She approaches each project with both imagination and care, pushing creative boundaries while guiding clients with experience and confidence.

Tayla’s talent, passion, and ability to foster genuine relationships ensure that every design outcome not only meets but exceeds expectations. Her presence adds both expertise and warmth to the Weststyle team.

Kiya Jacobsen

Kiya is a Graduate Architect holding a Master of Architecture, and a vital member of the Weststyle design team. With an wavering commitment to quality, she supports he team across all stages of the project journeys from initial concept development through to construction documentation and delivery, ensuring designs are both innovative and practical.

Collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and the construction team, Kiya brings a thoughtful and considered approach to every project. She has a keen interest in the integration of design and construction, consistently seeking ways to enhance outcomes and contribute positively to the project process. Kiya’s technical expertise, creativity, and collaborative mindset make her an invaluable part of the Weststyle team.

Dan Brown

Dan is Weststyle’s Senior Estimator, working alongside most of the departments including design, management and construction with excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail. Dan has a Diploma of Building and Construction and has been in the WA building industry for over 15 years, not only in estimation but also as a project manager and site supervisor.

As well as preparing detailed construction cost estimates Dan delves into researching and implementing new technologies and has a particular appreciation for smart home technology, eco-friendly and sustainability technology and equipment. Dan is always investigating and furthering his knowledge and successfully delivering detailed and accurate information to our team and clients.

Hayley Prendiville

With a background in Interior Architecture and over a decade of experience at Weststyle, Hayley has developed a deep understanding of the company’s mission and values. Since joining in 2012, her role has evolved significantly through further education in strategic leadership and human resources, culminating in her current position as Business & Culture Manager, a hybrid role that bridges strategic growth with people and culture.

Hayley contributes across business development, marketing, human resources, and employee engagement, bringing a unique blend of creativity and strategic insight. Her work continues to strengthen Weststyle’s ability to align people, performance, and purpose, ensuring the business remains both innovative and resilient.

At the heart of her role is a focus on fostering a positive, engaged, and connected workplace culture. By championing both the growth of the business and the wellbeing of its people, Hayley plays a pivotal role in ensuring Weststyle continues to thrive as an innovative and values-driven company.

Shannyn Tavolaro

As one of Weststyle’s original team members, Shannyn has played an integral role in the company’s growth and evolution. Over the years, she has embraced a wide range of responsibilities, continually expanding her knowledge and adapting her skills to meet the needs of the business.

Highly organised and dependable, Shannyn oversees the smooth running of the office while supporting many facets of the company’s operations. Her role spans coordinating maintenance works alongside the Maintenance Manager, processing accounts, managing purchase orders, and assisting with the planning of staff and client events.

Shannyn’s professionalism, adaptability, and positive presence embody the family culture and values of Weststyle. She is a cornerstone of the team, ensuring that every detail is taken care of and that the business continues to run seamlessly.

Nick Paone

Nick has been in the building industry his entire life, a career that began on the tools as a wall and floor tiler and organically moved into construction supervision. This is where his attention to detail and passion grew from being intricately involved in the creation of high quality residential construction.

Always striving to achieve the highest quality in finishes and workmanship, Nick gets satisfaction from facilitating the creation of a beautiful home from nothing but a pile of sand. A work highlight for Nick is the satisfaction in seeing the joy in Weststyle clients’ faces when their home is complete, knowing that he has been a part of building their dream home.
