Situated on a prominent corner block, the home is thoughtfully oriented to engage with two distinct streetscapes—the main frontage is open and inviting, welcoming visitors from the primary street, while the secondary aspect is softened and private, catering to family use. The material palette, complemented by playful brickwork textures, pays homage to the mid-century dwelling that previously occupied the site.
This expansive family residence embraces a warm, contemporary aesthetic, characterized by a fresh material palette that features dry-pressed face brick, steel-framed windows, and diverse glazing treatments. Paying subtle homage to past architectural eras, the design incorporates gentle curves, crisp white backdrops, and bold, dark frames. Through meticulous planning, the home achieves an inviting and comfortable atmosphere, thoughtfully designed to provide generous living spaces that cater to the family’s needs.

Matthew is a Site Supervisor with over 10 years’ experience in luxury, bespoke residential construction. His career has seen him manage a wide range of high-end residential and commercial projects, while also sharing his expertise as a Building Studies lecturer at North Metro TAFE.
A Registered Building Practitioner with a Diploma of Building and Construction, Matthew is recognised for his strong communication, collaborative approach, and commitment to quality outcomes. In 2017, he was a finalist in the Ric New Rising Star Awards, a reflection of his drive and dedication to the industry.
Matthew thrives on problem-solving and enjoys working closely with architects, engineers, and trades to deliver projects that are both unique and of the highest standard. For him, the greatest reward is seeing happy clients at the end of the build, achieved through his “one team, one dream” style of collaboration.
Nick has been in the building industry his entire life, a career that began on the tools as a wall and floor tiler and organically moved into construction supervision. This is where his attention to detail and passion grew from being intricately involved in the creation of high quality residential construction.
Always striving to achieve the highest quality in finishes and workmanship, Nick gets satisfaction from facilitating the creation of a beautiful home from nothing but a pile of sand. A work highlight for Nick is the satisfaction in seeing the joy in Weststyle clients’ faces when their home is complete, knowing that he has been a part of building their dream home.
