Branksome

A contemporary casual home inspired by its environment, this home uses practical, low maintenance materiality such as facebrick, polished concrete, timber and steel to complement its location yet the finishes are refined and elegant. The spaces are generous with lots of natural light and ventilation, achieving an 8.0 Star energy rating with passive solar design principles, strategically placed openings and orientation.

It is a large home with a balance of light and dark elements and strategically placed glass to maintain a light and airy aesthetic. There are delicate elements, such as the stair balustrading, combined with light coloured coastal timbers contrasted against textured dark features such as the entry feature wall and facebrick.
